The Kogarah Council is inviting Kogarah residents and all to welcome in the Year of the Dragon at Kogarah Town Square this Thursday, 2nd of February. The celebration runs from 6.30pm until 8.30pm and will include traditional Lion Dance with fire crackers, community singers, dancers, Chinese acrobatics, martial arts demonstrations, stalls & children’s activities!

VENUE: Kogarah Town Square, Belgrave Street, Kogarah. Kogarah is part of southern Sydney and is located approximately 14 kilometres south of the Sydney CBD.

GETTING THERE: The best way to get there is to catch a train and alight at the Kogarah train station. The festival venue is a short walking distance away from the station. For other public transport info, call the Transport Infoline on 131 500 or check their website on www.131500.com.au. Please note that Belgrave Street will be closed to traffic on the event day. Parking will be available at Derby Street car park as well as surrounding streets.
