Lunar New Year Celebrations @ Eastwood - 4th of February 2012

Dragon Dance at EastwoodThere will be a Grand Lunar New Year Celebration Day at Eastwood Plaza this Saturday 4th of February, which is the culmination of a month-long program of celebrations involving tai chi, ballroom dancing, cultural performances, feasting and a cooking competition.

The Grand Celebration Day offers live entertainment, Korean Didimsori drum dancing, High Pole Dancing Lions, Eastwood's longest dragon parade, fire crackers and food stalls. Come and join in the celebrations and welcome in the Year of the Dragon!

VENUE: Eastwood Plaza, Rowe Street, Eastwood. Eastwood is part of the Northern Suburbs region and is located about 17 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD.

GETTING THERE: The best way to get there is to catch a train and alight at Eastwood train station. The venue is about 5 minutes walk from the station. If driving there, parking is available at a council parking station between Hillview Lane and Lakeside Road. Parking is free but timed.
