Mazda Opera in the Domain - 28th of January 2012

Bring your picnic and enjoy a FREE outdoor opera at The Domain this Saturday, 28th January 2012! Be enthralled by the glorious music of Bizet and the story of The Pearlfishers. This story is set in ancient times on the island of Ceylon and is about how two men's vow of eternal friendship is threatened by their love for the same woman. The performance will showcase the famous Pearlfishers duet ‘In the depths of the temple’, which was voted as Australia’s #1 operatic moment in ABC Classics 100 Opera!

The opera Pearlfishers is a beautiful tale matched by even better opera music. Bring your family, picnic & rug and enjoy this special concert under the stars!
